Anglo-Eire Talks. A further full meeting between the Eire Ministers and British Ministers for the discussion of trade matters took place on Friday. This meeting followed upon the individual discussions held during the past three days It was agreed that the meeting should he adjourned until this week. In the interval the discussions between the Eire and British officials will continue. —British Official Wireless. Communists Deported. Communist ex-Deputies, ex-Coun-cil lors and ex-Mayors have been deported to fortresses on the Atlantic island of Veu Normountier, states a Paris report. Twenty-seven militant Communists have been arrested in France. Ketch’s Long Voyage. The ketch Ahot, with an Australian crew aboard, has arrived at Greenwich (Connecticut), completing a 34,000 mile voyage. The -ketch left Sourabava (Dutch East Indies) on the declaration of war. Spies in Turkey. VAn Ankara message says that the German Ambassador (Herr von Papen) is reported to have gone to Berlin. The authorities have arrested a distinguished archeologist, Professor von Oston, and four other Germans orx suspicion of. espionage.
