PRECEDENT IN HUNGARY.
COMMUNIQUE ON U.S. WARNINGBUDAPEST, April 24 The Hungarian Government has issued a communique on the warning of the United States Legation to Americans that they should consider leaving for home while the means or doing so existed. ~ “The U.S. Legation’s warning,” the Hungarian communique states, “was a routine circular from which it would be erroneous to draw conclusions. Diplomatic observers described Government intervention of this nature in a legation’s affairs as “unprecedented.”
