It is reported that the Allied troops from Central Norway are going to Narvik. . s■' The German High Command announces increased Allied pressure on Narvik and says the Allies are/slo'wJLy approaching the German 'positions under cover of fire from warships,Ah.ifp the attacks against German',; outpost? have been repulsed. ’’ The Copenhagen radio announces that the Norwegian troops, in the Trondelag area have already laid down their arms. Only small leaderless patrols are now resisting. The High Command reports .‘‘l We last of the British have evacuated;,, tjie Aiidalsnes district and the ti) wit l itself is in German hands. “Enemy forces are slowly,..pushing forward against our positions Tnorth and south-west of Narvik. The attacks are being repulsed. The naval forces sank two more enemy submarines in the Skagerrak.” Andalsnes is a port in Romsdal Fiord, Bouth of Trondheim, and the railhead of the railway inland to Bombas and llamar.
