BUSY SCENES.
DISMANTLING EXHIBITION. CLOSE SUPERVISION. Per Press Association, i WELLINGTON, May 6. The scene at the Exhibition this . morning deSed description, lorries and other , conveyances of all shapes and sizes joining a seemingly endless procession through the gates to start tho colossal task of clearing up. Soon there was pandemonium within with, tho sound of hammers, human voices and tramping feet creating such a din that it seemed impossible that order could come from such chaos, yet the outward • procession was. soon on the way. As the whole Exhibition has been a huge bond store t-lic removal of goods has to be closely supervised. Every person removing goods has to go through a clearance process-and secure certificates from the administrative office showing that the articles have < been cleared of duty. To-day is being * devoted to the removal, of smaller types of goods. Heavier articles will be left till clear space is available. The exhibitors have a month to effect the removal of goods, but. it is expected that a fortnight will see the back of the work broken.
