Westmoreland, ’and E. D. Wycherley. _ In his charge to the Grand Jury, His Honour said their labours would not be very arduous or lengthy. There were two persons against whom bills of indictment had been prepared. In respect of one man there were a series of indictments alleging offences against young girls. He was also charged with the thefb of a cycle and with an indecent act His Honour did not think the Grand Jury would have any difficulty in reaching a decision. The other case, , His Jlonour proceeded, might present some difficulty. It was a case in which a man uas charged in somewhat peculiar circumstances, the charge being that the man a cyclistV injured two ladies and caused them actual bodily harm, under such circumstances that, had ei ’ he would have been guilty, oi manbl True tC bilta were returned by the Grand Jurv against Eugene Chailt* Dominic Patrick McCarthy, labourer aged 32. in respect of five indictment* of indecent assault, one of Ibe convey sion of a cycle, one of the theft of a cycle and one of an indecent act. ” Accused was arraigned before the Court and entered pleas of guilty to these indictments. He was then remanded to appear for sentence at 10 a.m. on Thursday. .. Ano bill was -returned an indictment of causing actaaL bodily baim ao-ainst Arthur Wilson Larking, Raib wav Department employee, of Milson, and he was accordingly discharged. The charge was the outcome ot an incident in which two women were injured in a collision with a cycle at the Milson ramp. ,
