BOBBY CALF POOL.

The annual meeting of the Wooclville and District Bobby Calf Pool was held on Thursday night, Mr Edgar Harding presiding. The chairman, briefly reviewing the past season’s activities, stated that the opera-I tions of the pool had been most sue-> cessful s The balance-sheet, revealing a satisfactory state of affairs, was presented and explained in detail by Mr, Hastings, representative of the pool’s agents, who also answered a number of questions. Confidence in the efficiency of last year’s executive officers and appreciation of their services was shown in ,their unanimous re election,)

as folloivs: Chairman, Mr Harding'; secretary, Mr G. C. Isakson; committee, Messrs H. J. McPeak, B. Clark, J. Oxenham, A. F. Curry, J. H. GoldsiA’orthy, R. C. Leach and R. H. Morgan. A vote of thanks to the secretary for his Avork on behalf of the pool Avas carried. On the motion of Messrs Leach and McGregor, the committee’s action in having taken the necessary steps to join in with neighbouring pools for the formation of a federation of bobby calf pools was endorsed by the meeting. Thanks to Mr Hastings for attending the meeting and for the valuable information he had given members Avas expressed by the chairman.
