EXHIBITION BUILDINGS.

USE FOR AIR TRAINING. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 3Hon. D. G. Sullivan announced today that the Government intended to take over the Centennial Exhibition buildings when the_ exhibition closed to-morrow. The main reason is that the buildings are to be utilised ill carrying out the expansion involved on New Zealand’s part in the Empire air train ing scheme. The basis on which the assets would be transferred to the Government had been definitely agreed upon, but until all the accounts were completed and the position in regard to the various liabilities clarified it would not be possible to complete the exact basis of the' transfer.
