ADVANCE ON TRONDHEIM.
NAZI MECHANISED UNITS. LONDON, May 3. Swedish sources report that German mechanised units are proceeding to Trondheim unimpeded. Norwegian guerrilla forces may still be active, but it is believed that organised resistance south of Trondheim has practically ceased. , . The Allied forces in the Stenkjaei area (between Trondheim and Namsos) are faced with the alternative of contesting the German advance, which has now the full benefit of strong land communications, or retiring farther north. The Swedish Press does not legard the Allied chances of holding the Stenkjaer sector as other neutral opinion is that tm troops may be able to form a solid front to prevent further German proGerman sources expect the imrSne^btir^^idrarigainyihe at 150,000.
