The Red Cross appeal for the Sick, Wounded and Distress Hind under control of the Joint Council of the Older of St. John and the New Zealand Red Cross Society will commence on May The local Red Crow Society will bo required lo organise the appeal foi this dutrict and for that purpose a meeting of ail members of the Folding sub-centre in being called for Tuesday next at 8 o clock in the Borough Council Chambers He > member is urged lo attend so , work of organisation can be successfully undertaken.
