CENTRAL SCHOOL.
Miss I. Stuart, who has been appointed to the MnAndrew Street Intermediate School. Dunedin, and Miss A. Cattanach 8.A.. who is to join tlm school staff at Tva.rori, were farewelled yesterday l>v fellow members of the staff of the Central School. Presentations were made to them hv the headmaster (Mr E. Bary). who thanked them for their good work and loyal e.o-oneration, and wished them well in their new spheres. Congratulations were also extended to Mr Iv. White, first assistant, who has been anpoin+ed reh'eving headmaster at Hokowhitu, and appreciation was expressed to Miss L. M. Lyall and Mr G. Harding, who liave been oil the relieving staff.
