DEREGISTERED MEMBERS.

UNION ADAMANT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 3. Mr Johnson, secretary of the Wellington branch of the Watersiders’ Union, declared to-day that the union would assume full responsibility for its action in removing from its register the names of members who failed to pay the levy for the Labour Daily, and was prepared to tell the employers so in writing. Mr Bennett, manager of the Wellington Co operative Waterside Labour Employment Association, stated that 216 unionists who had not lifted tlieir discs at the labour call this morning would he treated, as being I absent until further notice.
