MONEY MARKET RATES.
LONDON, May 1. The Bank of England rate of discount is unchanged at 2 per cent. Discount and short lean rates on the London market compare with those of April 24 as follow: —Dav to day loans, April 24, 3 per cent., May 1 3 per cent.; fine trado hills (3months)., April 24 2£ to 3 per cent., May 12) to 3 per cent.; bank bills (three months), April 24 1 1-16 per cent, May 11 1-16 per cent.; banks bills (six ’months), April 24 1J per cent,, May 1 1£ per cent.; Treasury bills (two months), April 24 1 per cent., May 1 1 per cent.; Treasury bills (three months), April 24 1 per cent., May 1 1 per cent. 1 NEW YORK, May 1. Call money is unchanged at 1 per cent.
