The following is the draw for the medal round to be played by members ol the Pahiatua Ladies’ Golf Club on Tuesday next; —Mrs Juddand Miss G. At a meeting of the stewards of fhe Pahiatua Racing Club recently. Mr R. J. Smith presided. It was decided to apply for Friday and Saturday, Decemebr 13 and 14. 1940. ns dates for the club s 1941 meeting. Failing these dates. Saturday and Monday, January 25 and 27 1941, arc to be applied for. Messrs C. Connell, A. Bentley, E. 11. Lett, 11. R. AVhitta and T. Devanc were appointed ns a grounds ■committee. A vote of thanks was passed to Air K, A. Irvine for bis efforts in obtaining a trophy for the 1939 meeting. A vote of thanks was also passed to Mr A. McCormac for bis donation of a gold-mounted whin. It was decided that any profits from the annual ball be donated to the Mayor’s Recruits’ Presentation . Fund.
