PETROL DISPUTE.
VICTORIA (8.C.), April 30. The Premier (Mr T. D. Pattullo) has called an emergency session of the Provincial Legislature for May 8 in an effort to settle the gasoline dispute. A message received yesterday stated : Hundreds of motor-cars were stalled throughout the city on the fourth day of a gasoline famine in Vancouver. The oil companies were refusing to sell at prices the Government set below the previous scale, although the Court validated the price-fixing.
