PERSONAL
Mr and Mrs Colin Hales, of Porangahau, Hawke’s Bay, are visiting Feilding for the Agricultural High School commemoration celebrations. Mr and Mrs J. G. Eliott and Miss Betty Eliott, of “The Pines,” who have been on holiday at Paraparaumu Beach, have returned home. Mr and Mrs G. H. Smith, of Denbigh Street, have returned home after a holiday in Wellington. Mrs M. W. Horton and her daughter, Miss Barbara Horton, of Queen Street, have gone to Hamilton to spend a fotiiight with Mrs Horton’s mother, Mrs Quick. _ Miss Holdswortli, sole teacher at the Makerua School, and Miss Finlay, infant mistress at the Shannon School, have received appointments at the Manchester Street School, Feilding, and will commence .their duties after the holidays. Mrs D. D. Twigg, of Te Puke, Bay of Plenty,' who has been visiting Auckland anch Wellington to farewell her sons, Sergeant B. E. Twigg,'of Papakura, and Sergeant F. S. Twigg, of Trentham, is staying with relatives in Feilding.
