SUBMARINES LOST.

TWO TRAWLERS SUNK. Received . May 1, 9.15 a.m. LONDON, April 30. The Admiralty announces that the submarines Tarpon, under LieutcnantCominnnder 11. J. Caldwell, and Sterlet (Lieutenant-Commander G. H. S. Hirward) are now considerably overdue and must he considered to bo lost. His Majesty’s trawlers Bradman (Lieutenant A. A. F. Talbot) and Capo Sirotoko (Lieutenant A. N. Blundell) were damaged by bombs .and subsequently sank. No loss of lilo is reported. A British Official .Wireless message says the announcement of the presumed loss of the submarines Tarpon and Sterlet—vessels, of 1.095 tons and 070 tons, respectively—brings the total of Britain’s submarine losses since tho beginning of the war to seven.
