NAZI CLAIMS DISAVOWED.
ALLIED FIELD SUCCESSES. CONTROL OF DOMBAS. , (From Daventry.) A British AVar Office communiquo published in London just before midnight states that more French and British troops have been landed in Norway—in the North and Sundals Fiords, giving entrance to the war area, south of Trondheim, where tho Allied troops have displayed indomitable courage during the past 24 hours. Tho communique disposes of the German claims to have taken Dombas. The British hold positions covering tlio town. The German claim was made by the German News Agency, and not by the High Command. The enemy claim that the OsloTrondhcim railway line is in their hands, but the position is simply that two parties have met at a point on tho line.-It is like saying that an army at Chicago controls the New Yorfc-San Francisco line. French troops hold a line from Stenkjaer to the Swedish frontier further cast. Snow is beginning to melt, reducing the Germans’ advantage arising from the use of mechanised forces.
