BULLS

(From Our Own Correspondent.) _ BULLS, May 1. At a meeting of flic Bulls District Young Farmers’ Club, Mr S. G. Avery presided over a good attendance, including Messrs R. 0. Dalrymple and A. R. Dingwall (Wanganui district secretary). Mr Dingwall advised of a visit to Mr Duncan, wool research officer, to Huntcrville, Waimarino, Tailiapo and Marton. It was decided to invite local members of the Farmers’ Union to attend. Mr C. B. Anderson gave a resume of the council stock judging competitions held at Marlon and reported on tho annual meeting of the Wanganui District Committee. Tree-planting wax discussed, and the chairman will approach the Manawatu County. Council in reference to a site .on Mt. Stewart. Mr Dalrymple thanked the club for electing him advisory president, and offered every assistance.
