RICH OIL STRIKE.
PARIS, April 28. Oil lias been struck at St. Gaudens after boring for some months. Crude oil is gushing at a pressure of 1422 pounds to the square inch. It contains 22 per cent, pure petrol and over 2.000 000 gallons were collected in a few hours. Sf. Gaudens is a town in Gascony. Southern France, north of the Pyrenees Mountain.
