Cutts, senr., has been in Wellington. Last week’s first-aid class was well attended, Mrs Hatch being the dcmoijstrator. Bulls and Rata seniors met on the Domain on Saturday in fine weather, but the display of Rugby was very disappointing. Bulls registered no fewer than ten tries t-o Rata’s one, and if the local team had been able to kick goals the scores would : have been even greater than 34 to 5. Rata opened the, scoring with a snappy try by j C. Hartley, which S. Hartley converted, i Bulls backs then settled down and, meet- j ing feeble defence, rattled on try after : try, Culpan (3), Bonding, Matthews, Me-; Alpine, Williams, Mullins, Bryors and Hen- j derson all scoring, while Stock and McAlnine each converted one try. Mr N. Cairncross refereed.
