BOXING.
GILDO BEATS JARVIS. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 29. The Auckland Boxing Association’s season opened with a series of contests. The main bout was between the professional lightweights, Corporal Jack Jarvis (Trenthnin Military Cnnip) and Young Gildo (Philippine Islands). Gildo won on points at- the end of twelve three-minute rounds.
