PUBLIC WORKS MINISTER.
TO VISIT PALMERSTON NORTH. Advice that the Minister of Public Works (Hon. R. Semple), on his return from the South Island, would be visiting the northern districts and would call at Palmerston North on the way was received by the Palmerston North River Board, at its meeting to-day, from Mr J. Hodgens, M.P. The visit would probafily take place in about a month, he said. It was decided to thank Mr Hodgens for liis representations to have the Minister visit Palmerston North.
