(From Our Own Correspondent’.) FOXTON, April 24. Mr and Mrs A. \Y. Walls have returned from Wellington and tlic Wairarapa. Miss IClsie Barber. of Moluili, has returned from Wavcrley. Mr 11. Patterson, postmaster, has commenced his annual leave; Mr S. I. Walden is acting-postmaster. At a meeting of 11 1 c Foxtoii-Moiiloa Football Club committee Messrs H. and M. Robinson consented to undertake the coaching of the senior team. A vote of thanks was accorded Mr J. Grant for donating a cup for the senior player who has attended the most practices and who lias been the host conducted and host dressed player on the field. At the fortnightly meeting of Ihe Foxton Drama Circle, the comedy “Boots’’ was rehearsed. A reading of the play, “Druids’ Ring.” to he presented at the drama festival in Palmerston North, was enjoyed. At the fortnightly flag five hundred evening, held to raise funds for the Foxton Patriotic Committee flic prize-winners were Mrs T. G'haft'ey and Messrs L. Fletcher and L. McAlister.
