EXTRAVAGANT CLAIMS. BERLIN, April 24. A communique states: “British attacks on Oslo aerodromes were unsuccessful. Further reinforcements continue to assist the general advance. “German air attacks were concentrated on the Britisli landing points and roads and railways to the interior. A destroyer was seriously damaged at Namsos, a destroyer and transport were set on fire at Andalsnes, and a transport and a cargo vessel were put out of action in Moldc Fiord. Railway stations and supply sheds were set on fire, and a troop train and enemy towns and camps were destroyed. Tlie Official News Agency’s various claims include two British merchantmen sunk by bombs at Aalcsund, one destroyer and one transport sunk, and the greater part of a Norwegian division ’captured south-east of Stavanger. The News Agency claims that three British machines were shot down in the North Sea when attempting to raid Stavanger.
