The Washington correspondent of the No tv York Times says that Canada, despite the import restrictions, appears likely to surpass Britain as the United States’s best customer. Canada imported in February 50,029,000 dollars worth of United States goods—Bs per cent above February Inst year and a million dollars above January. Despite the large arms purchases, the major increases are fruits, meats, woollen textiles, automobiles and machinery.
