BUOYANT TONE. LONDON, April 24. The Daily Telegraph says that the Budget M-as r-well received in the City and caused sharp rises in gilt-edged securities. Old 3 2 per cent, loans rose £ 12s 6d to £IOO 2s 6d, the highest level since the outbreak of the M’ar. The new 3 per cent, loans for the first time reached par.
