OUTSTANDING VOCAL RECITAL
Something distinctive, to which musiclovers can look forward, will he the vocal recital to bo given by advanced students of Miss Y r era Moginie, in the Little Theatre. next Saturday evening. Those who have heard previous recitals will need no second invitation to attend, but will be eager to experience the same enjoyment ag'qin had to share it with (hose un r acquainted with the fine work of Aliss AJoginio and her pupils. This year, a particular attraction will lie the first apnearance of Mrs N. C. Holland, L.T.C.L.. whoso glorious voice has won high praise in other cities, and who will be heard in operatic arias and a song cycle. Aliss Molly Thorburn is a popular performer and will present a delightful Arabian song cycle not jieard before in New Zealand. Other performers include Miss Alillie Penkelh, tho Rowland brothers, and Aliss Marjorie Rowland, K. Birnie, J. Atitchell and J. McKenzie, also Mr J. Hansen and Master Alan Welch. Variation will be provided by Aliss Shirley Craig, L.R.S.AI., of Wellington, a scholarship winner of 1939. who .will contribute pianoforte' solos lo complete a most attractive programme.
