Two British submarines have returned sately to their base in this C °One"i' a the Truant, which torpedoed the light German cruiser This was a remarkable exploit Ibe Truant had to make her way krougU a minefield, and was attacked with depth charges by a German She was not damaged, and alter lying quiet lor a while returned sately tiirough the minefield. The other is the Sea Lion, which had an equally exciting voyage and succeeded in sending a 3000-ton German transport to the bottom.
