The Stockholm correspondent ot the British United Press quotes an authorised Norwegian military source as stating that the Allies have begun the final assault on Narvik. The Germans have been surrounded in three groups, namely, 1000 in the town ltseir, 1500 at Gratangen, whichi is /•-> miles north, and nearly 2000 on the llombak Heights. French and Norwegians arc reported to be operating at Gratangen. JJntisn troops have landed at Beis I'iorcl, between Elvegaard and Narvik.
