Raumai Golf Club held its opening day on Saturday with a Canadian mixed foursome, There was a good attendance and the best curds handed in were: Stuart and Miss Howell, 46: A. MacDonald and Hiss Smart, 49; J. MacDonald and Miss Muldroek. 49: C. Fresh aw and Miss Brooking, 49: 11. Smart and Mrs Short, 49; L. Rainier and Miss Sinclair, 50; C. Spelman and Mrs Stuart, 50; W. Smart and Miss 13.I 3 . MacDonald, 52: R. Smart and Mrs R. MacDonald, 54: \V. Ilowell and Mrs I). Balmcr, 57. Over the week-end a medal round for Mr D. Rainier s trophy was plaved, the best scores being: \\. Gibbs, 68; 11. Smart, 69; Wilkie, 70.
