Y.W.C.A.
The Board of Directors of the Palmerston North Y.W.C.A. were hostesses at a party held in the club rooms in honour of 40 members of the Alaori Battalion on Monday evening. Afr F. G, Alajor acted as host and AJr J. Pizzey as pianist and AI.C. The time was spent in dancing in tbe ball, and supper was served in the lounge, which was tastefully decorated with pink dahlias. The president (Airs C. A. Small) expressed the pleasure it bad given the Y.W.C.A. to arrange the series of parties for the men, and particularly for the opportunity it presented of coming to know quite a number of the representatives of the Alaori race. The several occasions on which similar functions bod been held would always be remembered with appreciation. Girl Citizens and 3Y9 Club members spent a happy evening at Flock House, Bulls, last night, when a party of 30 girls visited there in the charge of Alisses AI. Blanchard and H. Wapp.
