INTERHOUSE BASKETBALL.
Play in the Y.M.C.A. inter-house basket- ' call competition will commence on Wednesday night, when 49 teams will compete representing a total of 294 players. This competition, organised by the Y.M.C.A. between the business bouses and sports clubs of this city, is the largest in the Do minion. The competition is for both ladies and men, there being 31 ladies’ and 18 men’s teams entered. The following are the draw and times of play: Ladies’ section. —Power v. C.M.R. A, 8 p.m.; C.M.R. Bv. Fisher’s, 6.15 p.m.; G. and B.v. Symington’s, 8.45 p.m.; C. and C. v. Swimtex, 9 p.m. ; Economic v. Exclusive, 9.30 p.m.; Hutchins v. Collinson and Son., 10 p.m. Men’s section: City Council v. 2ZA Cubs, 8.30 p.m.; Woolworths v. Mechanicians, 9.15 p.m. ; Metcalfe Motors v. P.D.C. A 9.45 p.m.; Caterpillar v. Cook’s A, 10.15
