SYDNEY, April 22. A generally firmer trend for industrial shares ruled on the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day. Business opened auictly, but livened during the afternoon rail. Sales included :—Woolwortlis, Ltd., 19s lO^d; National Bank, £5 paid, £6 8s: Arahura Gold, £1 11s 9d: Broken Hill Pty.. £2 6s 3d: Goldsbrough Mort, £1 8s 6d; Colonial Sugar, £52 10s; Mt. Morgan, 10s Id; Moris Dock. 17s; Electrolytic Zinc, £2 15s fid; David Jones, £1 13s 3d: Burns, Philp, £2 13s; Tooth and Co., £2 12s.
