The Ivawakawa Hotel, To Araroa, was completely destroyed by fire on Saturday night. It was a -wooden building of 130 to 40 rooms, and was a landmark on the East Coast. —Press Association. Mr S. McNicol, of flic Physical Welfare ami Recreation Branch, will be in Palmerston North on Tuesday evening and wishes to meet captains and members of business house teams. Mr McNicol has another trip in view for the lady members'of the teams, and desires a full attendance so that the matter may be discussed fully.
