HOSTILITIES IN NORWAY HAMAR REPORTED RECAPTURED (United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received April 22, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, April 21. Swedish sources report that Allied and German troops are fighting at Namsos (in the Trondheim area). The Stockholm newspaper Aftonbladet says that British forces recaptured Hamar (70 miles north of Oslo) last night. English and Erench tanks participated. The British Official Wireless says that a joint Admiralty and War Office communique states: ‘‘There was considerable enemy air activity at Namsos during Saturday and many bdmbs were dropped. Extensive damage was caused in the town, but tlie only Allied loss was one British trawler sunk. There were no casualties among the Allied troops.”

GERMAN CLAIM. The Berlin News Agency announces: “Enemy naval forces yesterday shelled Narvik, which is still in German hands.” A British "War Office communique states: “Operations in Norway are continuing. British troops are operating in conjunction with the Norwegian forces.”
