GERMAN THREATS.
SUBMISSION DEMANDED. LONDON, April 21. A proclamation issued in Norway on the -occasion of Hitler’s birthday demands that the Norwegians submit to German rule or “the German sword will strike Norway with its full sharpness and dreadfulness.” Death sentences oh Norwegians were commuted, hut it was emphasised that this must not he regarded as a sign of weakness.
