TROPHY MATCHES. At the week-end, bowling matches for the Brewer Buttons and the tikis were played at Feilding with the following results:—Brewer buttons: Phillips and Bodgcrs (holders) 27 v McDowall and Burne 19. Tikis: Hobday, Fowler, Nesbit, Wcnham (Feilding, holders) 21 v. Telford, McAvoy, Stewart, Nottle (Oroua) 12. On Saturday afternoon the Oroua Bowling Club officially closed the greens for the season. There was a good attendance of members and several bowlers from the Feilding Club were also present and joined in a game.'
