CROQUET.
The final gala day of the Manawatu Croquet Club was held on AA'ednesday. Play commenced at 10.30 a.m. and a special lunch and afternoon tea had been arranged by the club captain (Mrs AV. J. Robertson). Winners were. —A section, Mrs Robertson; B section, Mrs Turner; C section, Mrs Stevens. Mrs R. A. Fuller spoke in eulogistic terms ol Mrs Robertson’s long service to the club and conveyed to her the thanks of the members.
