SUGAR SUPPLIES.
TRADE AB RANGEMENTS. Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON, April 18. Referring to the announcement by the Queensland Premier (Air Forgan Smith) regarding the purchase and distribution of sugar, the Alinister oi Alarkcting (Hon. W. Nash) said the arrangements referred to by Air Smith -were near completion and should result in the availability of sugar at present prices together with beneficial results to the Queensland producers and other members of the British Commonwealth.
