Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April IS. Questioned regarding charges for cablegrams for soldiers in Egypt Hon,. F. Jones (Minister for Defence) stated that the matter of a reduction was still under discussion with overseas Administrations. Meantime, arrangements have been made for a charge for four words only (five in case of deferred or daily letter telegrams) to be made for the addresses of telegrams to soldiers in Egypt, irrespective of the -number of words contai fed in that portion of the message. Telegrams could thus be fully addressed to ensure delivery without tho senders bearing the full charges for essential lengthy addresses.
