SPEECH CANCELLED.

MUSSOLINI’S ACTION. LONDON, April 17. There is widespread speculation regarding the reason for the sudden cancellation of his speech on the international situation which Signor Mussolini intended to make on Saturday next, especially as it coincided with the arrival in Romo of a German military mission. The meeting, to which diplomats and foreign Dress representatives were invited, was postponed indefinitely without explanation. The Italian Press is more restrained about the success of Hitler’s Scandinavian adventure, the Tribuna declaring that only the possession and full use of the Norwegian coast would yield Germany all the fr.uits of her occupation. The Times's Rome correspondent says the German military mission is visiting Italian munition factories.
