TAXING THE SMALL WAGEEARNER.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—Mr Cutler accuses _ “Boy Worker” of misrepresentation, irrelevancy, etc., and-advises him to “marshal liis facts correctly.” If Mr Cutler would marshal his own facts more carefully he would note that the letter signed by “Socked,” who started this controversy, east no slur on “old age pensioners and physically afflicted humans.” “Socked” suggested that “every ablebodied person should pull then weight,” and why not?- Many of these pensioners arc fit enough to dawdle about tbe Square all day. I notice they can read the newspapers without spectacles, which is more than i can do.— L am, etc., A YOUNG WORKER.
