OFFSETTING AMERICAN LOSSES. WASHINGTON. April 16. The Secretary to the Treasury, (Mill. Morgentlmu) indicated to-day that the Danish and Norwegian assets in the United States, frozen by President Roosevelt’s order on April 10, may be used to offset American losses should Germany confiscate Dinted States investments in Denmark and Noiway.
