Mrs J. F. Rom ley, of Whnkarongo, Mrs F. Hearscy and Miss A. N. Hcar<i sey are visiting Wellington. Mr W. Hamilton, of Warkwortli, and liis daughter, Mrs McNaught, arc visiting Mrs J. McMahon, of Fitzlierbert. Mrs Harold Harman, of Fendalton, Christchurch, is staying with her sister, Mrs 11. P. Ivav, of College Street. Mr and Mrs L. Seifert, of Victoria Avenue, are visiting where Mrs Seiiert will attend an executive , meeting of the New Zealand Ladies’ Golf Union. Miss Marie MofTatt, of Chaytor Street, was a visitor to Wellington for the Government reception to the singers who are to take part in the New Zealand Centennial music festival. Miss Betty Mcßae, of Napier Road, left to-day for Wellington, and will go to join a Dutch boat at Sydney 1 lor a holiday trip to Singapore. She expects to be away about three months. Mr and Mrs G. Jackson, junr., and Miss M. Rayworth, who were the j guests of Mr and Sirs W. Rayworth, “Forest Bend,” Stairway, over the week-end, have returned to Palmerston North.
