RECRUITING.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I have been informed that- a young lad who enlisted for service and was waiting to he called up has lost his employment and another taken on in his place who is eligible for military service. AVill this sort of thing encourage others to join tip? The lad discharged had been employed for a number of years prior to joining. I am, etc., who IS SERVING.
