The London morning newspapers have reduced their size as a result of the paper control order operating from midnight on Saturday reducing the amount of paper supplied to customers during March, April and May from GO per cent, to 30 per cent, of the amount supplied or manufactured in the same period last year except under license. Licenses already issued are reduced 50 per cent.
