ART UNION PRIZE.

JUBILATION IN TAIHAI’E. Per Press Association. TAIHAPE, April 13. There is great jubilation in Taihape in view of the winning ticket in the art union being held here. The members) of the syndicate, Air Hesketh and Bernice Baker, are both residents of Taihape. The ticket was bought locally and, although the name (“AVhitc Rajah”) implies racing both are emphatic that only fancy caused its use. AH Hesketh, who celebrated his 21st birthday recently, is employed as a carpenter by his father. Neither as vet knows what they intend doing with the money.
