Australian imports of motor vehicle chassis from Canada and the United States will he limited until further notice to 37,556 units a year. It is expected by this means to save exchange amounting to £7SG 000 sterling a year. Government experts in Ottawa describe Australia’s restrictions on automobile chassis as most serious. It is estimated that it-will reduce imports bv 5000 units annually.
