GERMAN CLAIMS.
BRITISH CRUISER TORPEDOED. Received April 15, 11.15 a.m. BERLIN, April 14. A communique states that a U-boat torpedoed a Glasgow class cruiser north of the Shethuuls. Submarine chasers have destroyed three enemy submarines in the Skagerrak. British air raids on Narvik, Stavanger, and Bergen were unsuccessful as regards military objectives.. ADMIRALTY DENIAL. A London message says: The German statement that a jjritisu cruiser ul tlie Glasgow class has been torpedoed is devoid of foundation.
