ALL SAINTS’ HOME.

LADIES’ COAIAIITTEE. Canon G. A'. Woodward presided over the monthly meeting of All Saints’ Children’s Home ladies’ committee on Thursday, also present being : —Alesdames N. Blackmore, AV. E. Field, Alartin, T. R. Aloore, Robinson, G. Y. AA’oodwa rd and Aliss R. Whyte. There were apologies for absence from Alesdames C. Akers, H. G. Bagiiall, A. E. Mansford, C. Louisson, Phillips. A. T. Nichols, Aliss K. Owtram and Air C. H. Handley. The matron reported that the health of the children was excellent. One child had been admitted, bringing the total up to 36 children. Harvest festival produce had come in in good quantities and the storeroom was Ircing well filled with vegetables and fruit, and two cases of apples had also been received. The committee thanked the unknown donors. The matron would be grateful for gifts of girls’ shoes, sizes 1,2, 3, also for good dripping and newspapers. The committee wishes to thunk the following for their generous gifts to the homo: —Airs Alax, pumpkins; Air Stevenson, pumpkins; 242 College Street, eggs; Donald Hunter, books and toys: Airs C. King, jam: anonymous, girls’ froeks: Airs Bowden, jam; Mr Christenson (Shannon), cabbages. Airs Stadpolo, apples; . “Friend,” apples; Mrs (lonian, apples; Mrs Wright, apples: Airs Smith (Orotia Downs), jam: Airs R. S. Abraham, vegetables: Abraham children, Easter eggs; AVoolworths, Easter eggs; Mr C. 11. Handley, vegetables; Cakoland, hot-cross buns: Boniface Bros., hot-cross buns: Mrs Blackley, beans; anonymous, sugar; Cocoa nut Grove danre, cakes and milk: anonymous, pumpkin: Takaro. Girl Guides, groceries: llardie’s Bakery, buns: Airs Jlnxton. clothes: also harvest festival produce from Orona Downs School children, Hunlerville, Taknrn. Alangaonoho, Komako, St. Andrew’s (Colyton). All Saints’ (Haicombe).
